ACCESS Program (ABE) - South Washington County Schools Adult Basic Education program offers College and Career transitioning, Gnereral Education Diploma (GED), English As a Second Language (ESL), Work Skills, Computer Skills, Pronunciation, Citizenship, Grammar and Conversation. Adult Enrichment - Community Interest Class in the areas of Move Your Body, Feel Great, Renew Your Home, Eat Well, Creat, Grow Your Garden, Raise Great Kids, Feel the Beat, Gentle Saturday, Get Tech Smart, Save Money, DIscover New things, and Learn Online 24/7. Found Under: Adult
Aquatics - April Pools Day, Basic Water Rescue, Boy Scout Workshops and Swim Testing, Lap Swim, Lifeguard Training, Open Swims, Pool Rentals, Pumpkin Patch Splash, Spring Board Diving Lessons, Swiming Lessons, Swim Training and Water Exercise. Community Youth Connection (CYC) - Located at Park, Woodbury and East Ridge High Schools Key Club members in Grades 9-12 join together for community service and youth events such as Boys and Girls Night Out, Parent's Night Out, youth Bell Ringing, Daddy Daughter Dance, Pumpkin Patch Splash, Adopt a Park and many more special events.
Community Youth Council (CYC) - Representatives from each District 833 High School Service Clubs (Key Club, National Honors Society, and WE Day Club). Community Youth Council organizes district wide service initiatives.
District Preschool - Located in various elementary schools, Central Park, and the District Program Center. Educational classes for ages 3-5 in Math, Language, Literacy, Music, art and Science. Tuition Based on a sliding scale. Found Under: Early Learning
District Program Center Community Center - Scheduled activities for adults age 50+ to include "500" Card Game, Bingo, Book Discussion, Bowling, Bunco, Crafts, Cribbage, Diabetes Support, Domino's, Euche, Exercise, Farkle, Foot Care, Hand and Foot Card Game, Mah-Jongg, Music Jam, Piano Lessons, Pickleball, Pinocle, Yoga, Zumba. Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) - Located at Central Park, District Program Center, Valley Crossing, and Neport Luthern Church. Home Based Services and Support such as New Baby Home Visits, Early Learner Connection, Individualized Parent Information and Family Support, On site Parent/Child classes Birth to 5 years. Early Childhood Screening - Located at the District Program Center. Free screening for develpment of children ages 3-5. Checks on development of child to detect further needs for improving speech, vision, or developmental specialties. Found Under: Early Learning
Facility Use - Rental of Auditoriums, Gyms, Locker Rooms, Pools, Cafeterias, Fields, Activity Centers, Classrooms, Parking Lots, and Lecture Halls. Found Under: Community
Gymnastics - We offer recreational and pre-competitive classes at all 3 High Schools. Classes are offered year round and range from parent child classes to High School workouts. Found under Youth (Elementary, Middle and High School) and Early Learning
Special Events - Daddy Daughter Dance, Gentle Saturday, Pumpkin Patch Splash, Super Hero, Xtreme Play, Friday Night Chef, Cupcake Wars Competition, Boys and Girls Night Out, Parents Night Out, and more!
Youth Enrichment - We offer classes after school, evenings and on non-school days for students ages 3-18 in a variety of subject areas from science and computer programming to fine arts, reading, cooking, foreign languages, babysitting and driver education. Kids have the opportunity to learn new skills or enhance ones they have an interest in pursuing.
Youth Sports - Our Middle School Athletics/Recreation Program provides 6th, 7th and 8th grade students an opportunity to participate in a variety of seasonal competitive sports and recreational activities. These programs emphasize skill development and team play.
