We strive to ignite a passion for lifelong learning in all community members, birth to 100+. Below is a brief synopsis of the breadth and depth of our programming.

Activity Centers - Located at Park, Woodbury, and East Ridge High School's. Birthday party rental, walking/running track, basketball, volleyball, badminton, family nights, weight room, fitness area, memberships or daily entrance fee.

Adults With Developmental Disabilities - Bingo, bowling, dances, arts and crafts. Services provided through our consortium partner; Community Bridge Consortium.

Adult Enrichment - Community interest classes in the areas of 'Move Your Body', 'Feel Great', 'Cook', 'Create', 'Gain Skills', 'Raise Great Kids', 'Manage Your Money', and Ed2Go - learning online 24/7.  

Aquatics - April pools day, basic water rescue, boy scout workshops and swim testing, lap swim, lifeguard training, open swim, pool rentals, pumpkin patch splash, springboard diving lessons, swimming lessons, swim training and water exercise.

CE Skoolie - Community Education's renovated school bus used for programming as a mobile classroom.

Community Partnerships - Community Education partners with SoWashCo CARES, Parks & Recreation, YMCA, Washington County WorkForce Centers, Washington County Library, and many local businesses to bring programming, events, and resources to the community.

Community Youth Connection (CYC) - Located at Park, Woodbury and East Ridge High Schools, High School students in Grades 9-12 join together for community service and youth events such as Boys and Girls Night Out, Parent's Night Out, youth Bell Ringing, Daddy Daughter Dance, Pumpkin Patch Splash, Adopt a Park, and many more.

District Preschool - Located in most elementary schools, Central Park, and the District Program Center (DPC).  Educational classes for ages 3-5 in Math, Language, Literacy, Music, art and Science. Tuition Based on a sliding scale.

Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) - Located at Central Park, the District Program Center (DPC), Valley Crossing, and Newport Lutheran Church.  Home based services and support such as; new baby home visits, early learner connection, individualized parent information and family support, on-site parent/child classes from birth to 5 years.

Early Childhood Screening - Located at the District Program Center (DPC).  Free screening for development of children ages 3-5. Checks on development of child to detect further needs for improving speech, vision, or developmental specialties.

Facility Use - Rental of auditoriums, gyms, locker rooms, pools, cafeterias, fields, activity centers, classrooms, parking lots, and lecture halls.

Great Rivers Adult Education Consortium - South Washington County Schools Adult Basic Education program (ABE) offers college and career transitioning, general education diploma (GED), English as a Second Language (ESL), work skills, computer skills, pronunciation, citizenship, grammar and conversation. We partner with the Washington County Workforce Center.

Gymnastics - We offer recreational and pre-competitive classes at Park, Woodbury, and East Ridge High School. Classes are offered year round and range from parent child classes to high school workouts.

Kids Club - High quality care programs before and after school, during release days and throughout the summer for students K-5th grade.

Senior Center - Scheduled activities for adults age 50+ to include; social events, card games, exercise activities, bingo, book discussion, crafts, support, trainings, trips, volunteering and more.

Special Events - Daddy Daughter Dance, Marketplace of Learning (previously known as Gentle Saturday), Pumpkin Patch Splash, Super Hero, Xtreme Play, Mother Daughter Pinterest Projects, Fairytale Fashion for Food, Friday Night Chef, Cupcake Wars, Boys and Girls Night Out, Parents Night Out, SoWashCo CARES community service pack events, and more!

Youth Enrichment - We offer classes after school, evenings and on non-school days for students ages 3-18 in a variety of subject areas from science and computer programming to fine arts, reading, cooking, foreign languages, babysitting and driver education. Kids have the opportunity to learn new skills or enhance ones they have an interest in pursuing.

Youth Sports - Our middle school athletics/recreation program provides 6th, 7th and 8th grade students an opportunity to participate in a variety of seasonal competitive sports and recreational activities. These programs emphasize skill development and team play.
