Kat shared stories and sang a few songs accompanied by her guitar player/boyfriend Eric Warner at last night's District 833 Health & Wellness event at Park H.S. A group of over 20 M.S. and H.S. students shared the stage with her to sing the chorus of her song Fearless at the end. She challenged us to consider "What Would You Do If You Weren't Afraid?" and to take steps to be brave, dream it and do it. She sang a riveting rendition of Sia's Chandelier which was one of her favorite challenges on The Voice.

Breakout sessions included Parenting Teens in Today's World by Mike Huntley with the Youth Service Bureau, The Daring Way by Dr. Carli Kody and Stress Management for Teens by 1000 Petals. Area mental health organizations were on hand to provide helpful resources. Friendly Park High School Spanish Club students provided specialty coffees at no charge to attendees. Thanks to all who participated!
