| | Jump Start Basketball with Sam Jacobson ( May 14th, 2009 ) | Sam Jacobson has teamed up with So. Washington County Schools to offer “Jump Start Basketball Training”.
Sam’s vision for Jump Start is to provide quality basketball instruction to youth interested in taking their game to the next level; while increasing the presence of basketball in our communities.
Sam played for Park High School in Cottage Grove from 1990-1994. After graduating he attended the University of Minnesota where he led the Gophers to a Final Four appearance in ‘97 and a NIT Title in ‘98. Sam was later drafted into the NBA where he played for the L.A. Lakers, Golden State Warriors, and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

| Summer Youth Activities ( May 29th, 2009 ) | Looking for summer opportunities for your child? The summer youth catalog will be out in the schools around April 15th for Grades K-5. They were mailed to Grades 6-9.

| Kindergarten Here We Come 2009 ( April 14th, 2009 ) | | Do you have a child beginning kindergarten in the fall? Would you like your child to have the opportunity to become familiar with his/her new school, kindergarten classroom, and the half-day kindergarten routine? | Now Accepting Registrations for 2009-10 Preschool ( February 20th, 2009 ) | Registrations are now being accepted for the School Readiness Preschool program for the fall 2009 school year. Classes are offered for children 3 - 5 years of age by September 1, 2009. The registration deadline is Thursday, February 5th. We will continue to accept registrations after the deadline until classes are full. For full details, please visit the ECFE link above and click on preschool programs. Preschool locations include Armstrong Elementary and District Program Center in Cottage Grove, Pullman Elementary in St. Paul Park, and Central Park, Valley Crossing, and Liberty Ridge in Woodbury.
